Bottes Japonaises : Japanese boots

Chez Monte Laster (artiste américain qui œuvre à La Courneuve) je ne peux résister à la vue de ces bottes japonaises au cuir patiné de faite un cliché.

At Monte Laster's studio (American artist in La Courneuve) I could not resist photographing these well used Japanese boots.

Séjour en Angleterre entre famille et travail, passage chez James Plumb dans leur maison écrin et dans l’atelier de Patricia Volk. 

Between work and family in England, we had a brief stop in the dolls size house of James Plumb and the atelier of Patricia Volk.

Cabinet de curiosité

Voici un meuble qui renferme dans chacun de ses tiroirs une histoire terrible: l'ultime souffle de Ruth Ellis, L'argent servant à acheter des sucreries utilisées par un tueur d'enfants pour les enlever, du sang d'ange déchu, les restes d'un bossu après une combustion spontanée etc.. une création très proche de l'univers de Tim Burton réalisé par le couple d'artiste Patricia (sculpteur) et Stephen (écrivain) Volk.

Here is a piece of furniture that opens up to reveal a frightening story in all of its drawers: the last breath of Ruth Ellis, money used to buy sweeties by a russian abductor of children, the blood of a fallen angel, the only remains found after the spontaneous combustion of a hunchback etc.........a creation similar to the world of Tim Burton created by the couple Patricia (sculptor) and Stephen (writer) Volk.
